Albia was once renowned as one of the greatest kingdoms in Druecia, but recent times have seen a significant decline in its power and prestige. Knightcross, formerly Albia’s second most influential city, has recently defected, establishing itself as its own Kingdom in the Druecian Empire. This defection has exacerbated perceptions of mismanagement within the kingdom’s remaining major cities, further eroding Albia’s reputation.

King Reginald “Reggie” Moon is desperately attempting to restore Albia’s former glory. He believes that the kingdom’s revival depends on expanding into new, prosperous territories, hoping that fresh conquests and colonies will bring increased wealth and influence. To this end, Reggie has generously funded explorers, adventurers, and settlers to seek out and claim new lands, particularly focusing on establishing colonies in the recently discovered southern continent and on Yeen.

His strategy seemed promising when explorers founded Suncrest on this new continent. However, Reggie’s efforts are complicated by competing settlements from powerful Kingdoms such as Autumngrove and Grimrest, who have also begun colonizing the region. Determined not to lose this critical opportunity, Reggie continues to invest heavily, offering substantial rewards to adventurers who can quickly claim and settle new territories.

Unfortunately, the king’s ambitious colonization initiatives have significantly diverted attention and resources away from Albia’s internal affairs, leading to severe neglect of his people’s basic needs. With Keshnard Drue increasingly directing its trade to Knights Cross rather than Albia, a dire food shortage has intensified within the kingdom. This has sparked rising civil unrest, placing Reggie in a precarious position. He urgently strives to restore Albia’s greatness through colonization before his citizens’ frustrations reach a breaking point.
