In the northeast of the Nyvara Wetlands lie the Mudspine Hills, a rugged and uneven region marked by countless dirt mounds and rolling hills. The difficult terrain makes farming nearly impossible, and heavy rainfall often causes sudden mudslides that sweep away anything in their path. Adventurers passing through the area tread carefully, as the lack of trees and natural cover causes the lowlands to flood rapidly, leaving behind skeletal remains of those who were not quick enough to escape.

Nestled against and partially built into the northern mountains stands the city of Zisskara, home to the Yuan-Ti. The Yuan-Ti are known for their hostility toward outsiders and rarely allow foreigners into their lands. Zisskara is ruled by King Pythor of the Serpentine Dynasty, a figure both feared and worshipped by his people.
