Southern Vesh-Tarra once stretched far to the south, but the arrival of human colonists has drastically reduced its territory. Many of the southernmost villages now lie in ruins, burned down by the invading human settlers. The Tabaxi people of Vesh-Tarra are pacifists, leaving them unarmed and unprepared for the human invasion. Over the years, they have struck multiple land agreements with the colonists, but the humans have repeatedly broken their promises.
The few villages that remain in Southern Vesh-Tarra are filled with anger and resentment toward their northern kin. Why won’t they send help? Why won’t they fight back? Frustration also grows toward the elves of Almera, who once promised protection in exchange for goods — yet when the Tabaxi needed them most, the elves were nowhere to be found.
Fear grips the region as the Tabaxi struggle to survive while feeling abandoned by their allies. Even their most sacred temple now stands vulnerable, unprotected from the encroaching colonists.
