Deep in the unforgiving lands of southern Nyvara, the ForgeClaw Clan stands as one of the three dominant orc tribes in the region. Known for their brute strength and relentless ferocity, the orcs of ForgeClaw are feared across the land. Individually, they are said to be stronger than any orc from rival clans — a legacy born from blood, battle, and an unshakable warrior culture.
The ForgeClaw orcs live for combat. Their lives are defined by dominance and violence, and their traditions reflect it. They drink the blood of their fallen enemies, and adorn their homes with the skulls of those they’ve slain — each one a trophy, a story of conquest, and a warning to outsiders.
Leadership within the clan is ever-changing. The title of chieftain is not inherited, but earned in blood. Any orc who believes themselves worthy may challenge the current leader in a fight to the death, held in the infamous Pit at the center of their stronghold. The Pit is sacred to the ForgeClaw — it is the beating heart of their culture, a place of glory, judgment, and legend.
Beyond settling leadership disputes, the Pit serves as an arena for warriors to test their strength — often against ferocious beasts kept in the dark below. Prisoners captured in battle are thrown into the Pit as brutal entertainment, forced to fight for their lives before bloodthirsty crowds.
An ancient myth lies at the core of the ForgeClaw identity. Legend tells of the clan’s founders — two titanic warriors named Forge and Claw — who battled one another for a thousand years. As their blows struck the earth, the ground cracked and split beneath them, eventually forming the great Pit. Their struggle is said to have shaped the very land, and in their honor, the orcs continue the tradition of pit combat — believing each battle echoes the strength of their founders.
To the outside world, the ForgeClaw are savages.
To themselves, they are heirs to war incarnate.
