Shimmerstone Isles

The Shimmerstone Isles are a cluster of islands, each renowned for its unique and powerful minerals and magical crystals. Kingdoms across Nyvara fiercely compete for control of these valuable resources. For now, a fragile peace exists, with agreements in place allowing shared mining facilities on several islands.

Beneath the surface lies a network of intricate cave systems that connect the islands. While these tunnels are rich with dazzling gemstones, they are also home to nightmarish creatures that lurk in the shadows, preying on miners desperate to make their fortune.

Despite the dangers, the islands have one native population — the Rock Gnomes. These hardy folk have adapted to the treacherous environment and are known for their willingness to trade the isles’ precious resources in exchange for food and supplies from neighboring kingdoms.
