Bleakshire is a place where hope has been stamped out so often that most no longer bother to dream. Once abandoned by humans, the crumbling town became a haven for the unwanted: goblins, tieflings, and all manner of outcasts. With no law or leaders, it has long been ruled by desperation, back-alley deals, and the clink of sharpened blades.
Against all odds, one goblin refuses to accept the ruin. Jeremy, small in stature but towering in stubbornness, has begun speaking of rebuilding the town, uniting its people, and making Bleakshire worth defending. His words have drawn both hope and hostility. Since his first speech, he has been stabbed twelve times, yet he returns to the square each week, more bandaged but no less determined.
Jeremy’s followers now seek capable, kind-hearted protectors to guard him during his next and most important address. The threats are real, the knives are sharp, and the streets are watching. If he survives this speech, it could be the turning point Bleakshire has been waiting for.
