The gemstone mountains, dazzling yet treacherous, have long barred adventurers from pressing deeper into the southern lands. Their jagged peaks and glittering cliffs stand as both a marvel and a roadblock, cutting off explorers from untold riches and uncharted realms beyond.
Now, the King of Suncrest has unveiled a dangerous alternative. A narrow passage, hidden between the mountains, known among travelers as the Cursed Vale. Though it offers the only way forward, the vale’s name is not given lightly. Stories tell of twisted shadows, lost travelers, and an ever-present mist that swallows even the boldest.
Seeking to turn peril into promise, the King calls upon willing adventurers to band together and brave the Cursed Vale. Should they succeed in charting a safe route, these adventurers would gain a tremendous advantage in the Horizon Pact, opening the path to new lands, wealth, and dominion.

Rewards: No gold reward, but a larger group is likely to survive headed further south. Those who join the mission will be the first to see the lands past the gemstone mountains.
