The King’s brother has personally requested your service as bodyguards for His Majesty during the upcoming Annual Croquet Tournament, an event held in the King’s honor. Though the day is expected to be festive and largely uneventful, the King is a deeply cautious man. He refuses to expand his Kingsguard, most of whom are now far too old to don armor, let alone defend him should danger arise.
Your task is simple: remain at the King’s side throughout the tournament, follow all instructions without question, and, above all, do not provoke or upset His Majesty. The King’s paranoia is infamous, and a single misstep could ruin the day for everyone involved.
