He asks Thraine if he is “The Dwarf”

“I’M THE DWARF”, the guard says

The pale guy says his name is Francis
- He claims that “the light” guides him to find the dwarf, but he doesn’t know why
- He’s been imprisoned, and has been searching for the dwarf for years

Francis says if he doesn’t find the dwarf, the world will be consumed

The guard lets us into Cinderforge. We’re being led to the king
-
Everyone in the city seems disciplined and focused

Everything is smoky and the skies are filled with soot. The volcano towers on the horizon

We meet the king. He is resistant to trade with the kingdom.

To prove ourselves, he wants us to fight his champion. We each take turns fighting the champion until either he or our group is defeated.

Sylas gives Thraine some mage armor

The Champion:

It was a hard-fought battle, but we defeat The Champion.

We complete the quest, and split the rewards

The Autumngrove official tells us that the Queen of Autumngrove wants us to travel to the Frozen Forests next, and will supply an upgraded airship

We head to The Outlands because Sylas needs to drop off a letter.

When we arrive, some weird hairy guy is eyeballing Meowfi

Sylas tells him to go walk into the water and he does

We find the address of the letter, while Meowfi, Thraine, and Francis go to an armor shop
-
A bearded man opens the door, and welcomes us in.

He appears to be some false god who really likes it when we stroke his beard. He wants us to follow him.
