Sylas and Dadaka set off for Grimrest.

Kakada has grown signifigantly, and appears to be the equivalent to 4 years old. He’s fairly well spoken.

Once we land in Grimrest, we set out with Meowfi and Thomas Glindley
- This guy sucks. His name is Brent and he has a ton of information but won’t tell us anything.

A lot of people in Grimrest are hooded, it’s a dark and sad place. We ask a strange of Jericho’s whereabouts and he tells us to head east
-
We end up finding Jericho’s house, it’s actually really nice and his brother answers the door.

Just like everyone else, he claims that his brother is crazy and not to go to the tower
-
We walk up to Jericho’s dingy room. He’s so happy to see us.

After an epic worm performance, we head out to the tower.

Sylas asks Jericho if he’s seen any cool birds, and Jericho makes a strange figure with his hands. Sylas says that his favorite bird is an owl.

As we’re in the forest, Thomas shouts for us to quickly hide. He sees something. We all hide, except for Jericho. He screams and we hear a gunshot go off.

There’s a man, he identifies himself as Bombshell.
-
A huge blue bird attacks Bombshell, and Dadaka goes to grab it.

The bird steals Akada :(

Meowfi and Sylas shoot the bird enough to release the baby and it feather falls to safety.

We push on to the tower.

Old King in Grimrest hid away a figure in the tower, and hid him away. It’s in the basement
-
We have to be stealthy. The ghosts can sense our fear,
-
We enter the tower, it appears to be completely abandoned. It’s eerily quiet.

Sylas goes down the hatch. It’s pitch black but he stomachs his fear.

It’s a LONG ladder. We’ve been climbing down for 15 minutes.
-
After more climbing, Sylas spots a figure at the bottom. Kakada is terrified.

After reaching the bottom, Sylas sees BRENT
-
Sylas charms him, and Brent tells us that he can be trusted. He just wants to join us on the adventure and has been waiting for us down there.
-
Through to the next room, Sylas sees a terrifying ghost and immediately retreats and hides behind the ladder.
-
The rest of the group enters the room fine, but the ghost follows Sylas
-
Brent voluntarily possesses himself to let Sylas get through

Thomas shoots him in the head :(

Jericho, Sylas, and Meowfi take one of the rooms. Jericho gets himself impaled on a spike but Sylas patches him up.

Jericho stays behind and tells Sylas the way.

We get down the ladder after 10 minutes to see this guy chained up
- He claims to be Zain
- 500 years ago, he served the Soul King. He collected souls, but didn’t know what the Soul Kings plans were. His soul was taken.
- Zain has spent his renewed chance at life redeeming himself, assassinating corrupt politicians and nobles.
- He has been trapped there for over a hundred years.
- Sylas, Meowfi, and Thomas agree to free him, on the condition that Zain helps take down Cattivu’s Will.

After leaving the tower, we all decide to head back to Rusty. Before entering the town again, Sylas decides to stay back with Zain to keep him away from people who might recognize him.

Almost immediately as they’re alone, Zain threatens Sylas and claims that the darkness inside of him is too dangerous.
- Before Zain can take his soul, Sylas misty steps away and runs to safety.

Sylas catches up with the group breaking the bad news to Jericho’s brother. In a rush, Sylas runs back to the ship.

Sylas makes it onto the ship, but thinks Zain is right behind him so he runs off screaming,
- Sylas runs straight into this guy
- It’s Rusty’s dad
-
Rusty looks upset to see him, but begrugingly gets off the ship to talk to him
-
While this is happening, Sylas heads into is room
-
Turns out to be the worst place to be, as Glimby from the tower teleports above the ship and comes crashing into it, nearly killing Sylas
- Sylas teleports from his buttcrack into Dadaka’s arms, who proceeds to throw him against a wall
- Meowfi stabilizes him
