A king cursed with knowledge and burdened by truths few dared to listen to, that is what I have become. I warned the Empire time and again that the east would rise as our greatest threat. I urged that the unification of Druecia under one rule should be achieved before we reached beyond our borders in colonization. My words fell on deaf ears.
Now the winds of the east stir. The Kingdom of Faywharf is soon to host a conclave, where the kingdoms and cities of Eastern Druecia will gather to discuss unification. Should they succeed, it will reshape the balance of power and bring ruin to all we have built.
I need people I can trust. People who understand what must be done, even when others call it treachery. You will go to Faywharf. You will watch, listen, and if you must, you will act. Spy, disrupt, and ensure that no single ruler rises from this gathering.
